Hayfield Farm is located in the Kingstowne area of Alexandria. Situated off of Telegraph Road between Fort Belvoir and the US Coast Guard Station. This neighborhood offers both convenience and privacy, as you drive through you’ll enjoy the well-established trees and landscaping.

 

The community is composed of 691 single family homes. Construction began in the mid-1960’s and the last homes were completed in 1972. Hayfield Farm offers different home styles including; colonial, rambler, split level, and split foyer.

 

There is no HOA for the neighborhood but, community members are encouraged to join the Hayfield Citizens Association.
 


What’s Nearby Hayfield Farm?

2018 Kingstowne Home Sales Market Review

The tune of it being a seller’s market played in Kingstowne throughout 2018. Final numbers show that the number of homes sold remained fairly consistent, an increase of 16 from 2017. Sale prices were a different story; up by over 5% in 2018 and days on the market were down by over 11%. Sellers also saw a 98.7% sale to list price in 2018.
 


So what does this mean for Kingstowne real estate? It was an excellent year for sellers. Inventory remained low (and still is) which causes buyers to wait for new homes to become available and they are poised to act as soon as they do. If you’re considering selling your Kingstowne home now is an excellent time. Homes that are priced correctly, have a reasonable amount of updates, and show well are moving quickly. Runnymeade is located in Alexandria off of South Van Dorn Street and Crown Royal Drive.  The neighborhood is home to 346 townhomes that were built between 1983 and 1987. All of the homes have 3 levels and range from 2,080 to 3,000 square feet depending on the floor plan. There are six-floor plans; Alford, Berwick, Darnley, Elgin, Falkirk, and Marlburough. The townhomes in Runnymeade typically have 2-4 bedrooms and 2-3 full bathrooms. Some of the homes have a one car garage while others sell with surface parking.
 


Community Amenities

Community amenities in Runnymeade include tennis courts, tot lots, and common areas. There is a beautiful wooded area of the community where you’ll often see residents playing with their children, walking their dogs, or enjoying a game of catch or kickball.

 

What’s Nearby Runnymeade?

Runnymeade is very conveniently located. Kingstowne Towne Center is less than 5 minutes away. You’ll find multiple grocery stores, Kingstowne 16 Movie Theater, World Market, Home Goods, Panera Bread, Pasara Thai, Bonefish Grill, Bath and Body Works and many other dining and retail options in the center. Runnymeade is also close to Springfield Town Center, home to Maggiano’s, Yard House, Chuys, LA Fitness, Target, and many retail stores. Check out the movie theatre while you’re there – super comfortable seats, delicious food and you can even have an adult beverage while you watch the latest release.
