Over my 10+ year career in Real Estate I’ve learned it’s about personal attention and understanding your client needs. Real Estate is always changing and you need information that’s reliable and current to enable you to make the best decision on one of your largest and most important lifetime investments. As a native of Northern Virginia I offer both professional expertise in understanding the market, negotiating, and the overall complexity of a real estate transaction and hands-on insight to the different neighborhoods, their locations and what they offer to residents.
What led you to real estate?
I fell in love with real estate when I purchased my first home in 2007. Shortly after that, I left my job as a loan officer and dove head first into real estate. I obtained my Broker’s license in 2012 and have both worked for other brokers and owned my own boutique brokerages. I’m incredibly grateful for the support staff that I have. It allows me to focus on my clients and deliver personalized service which is something that I think everyone deserves when buying or selling.
Why are you passionate about being an agent?
I love helping people and that’s what real estate is about. It’s not about sales, it’s about relationships. There’s absolutely nothing more rewarding than sitting down for a settlement and seeing the smile on a client’s face. We become a part of our client’s lives and we’re grateful they allow us to do so. It’s not a transaction, it’s about helping them make their dream come true.
Who is Amanda outside of real estate?
Real estate is 7 days a week and I’m terrible at disconnecting but, when I do take a couple hours for myself I spend time with my soon to be husband and our dogs. I love animals and our dogs have me wrapped around their paws. Being able to go for a long walk or visit a local park is my idea of a perfect afternoon. We like to think we’re foodies and enjoy trying new restaurants. My parents live in Charleston, SC and I love to visit them as much as possible.
